Peru 2010

Our team would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support and prayers! We had such an amazing time in Peru - and are incredibly blessed that God chose to use us to further His kingdom! This trip was a time for Spiritual growth for all, and gave us each an opportunity to see God work in us and through us.

Many thanks and much gratitude to our hosts in Peru - Pastor Raul and his family in Ventanilla, Pastor Robin and Tracy Shelley from Ica, the Edwards family and Calvary Chapel Bible College, Lima. We are so grateful and blessed for your love and hospitality, and for allowing us to come alongside you to minister. We will continue to pray for you and your ministries in Peru! We love you!

Beach Bonfire!

Join us for our first EPIC Beach Bonfire of the summer! Date: Saturday July 24th, from 8 AM - 11 PM. The cost is $9/person (non-refundable) and includes gas, parking and dinner. Spots are limited. Pick up a flyer outside of the high school room for more info.

Mexicali!

We may have an opportunity to minister in Mexicali during the second week in August as part of a VBS outreach. If you're interested in being part of this mission trip, please sign up in the hallway outside of the high school room. We are still working out the details (such as cost, dates, etc).

Praise 'n' Pool

EPIC invites high schoolers to a Praise 'n' Pool & Potluck on August 5th from 5 PM - 9 PM at Kaylee Johnson's house. There's no cost to attend, but we are asking people to bring food to share. Sign up in the hallway outside of the high school room. Consent forms are required and remember - modest swimwear please! Bring a friend!

EPIC Girls' Campout!

On July 30th - July 31st EPIC Girls are having a sleepover at Brandi's house! Time: 6 PM Friday to 9 AM Saturday. Cost is $5 per person, and includes dinner and snacks. Sign up at the Gazebo beginning Sunday July 11th. Pick up a flyer for more info.

Bible in 90 Days...

We've already started our EPIC "Bible in 90 Days" challenge! The reading schedule will take you from Genesis through the Book of Revelation over the summer. Are you up for it? Pick up a flyer in the hallway outside of the high school room that has the reading schedule for June, July and August.

S.A.V.E.D.

To better equip you to go out and share your faith, we are starting an evangelism preparation class, SAVED, which stands for Study, Apply, Value, Engage and Deliver. The class will be on the last Thursday of each month, from 7 pm - 8:30 pm in room 305 (the junior high room). The next SAVED class is Thursday July 29th.

Calling all EPIC Youth!

Dustin invites all EPIC high schoolers to be a part of our youth committee. The committee meets on the first Wednesday of each month, at 5:30 pm to discuss how we can better reach our community with the love of Jesus Christ! Bring a pen, paper, and your ideas. Our next meeting is August 4th, 5:30 PM, room 304.

EPIC Night of Evangelism

Put your faith into action and share the Gospel message in your community! The first week of each month leaders and youth are encouraged to participate in a night of evangelism. Our next night of evangelism is Friday August 6th. Bring your Bibles and a heart ready to share Jesus with others!

Parent/Youth Prayer Meeting

On the first Sunday of each month the EPIC High School ministry hosts a Parent/Youth Prayer Meeting. We invite you to join EPIC leaders and servants in prayer as we pray for you, your ministry and each other. Our next prayer meeting will be Sunday August 1st after 2nd service, room 304.

Girls' Discipleship

All high school girls are invited to join the EPIC Girls' small group study. Girls meet each Sunday evening at 6 pm in the high school room (room 304). During our meetings we have a time of worship, prayer, and time in the Word. This year the girls are going through the One Year Bible.

Guys' Discipleship

Make the commitment to get even closer to God and really get to know Him! EPIC guys are invited to the Guys' Discipleship meetings on Sunday nights at 6 pm. Come for a time of fellowship and time in the Word. Meet upstairs in the high school room (room 304) before service.
